has any1 seen a Diy for a z6 turbo?

like the title says im looking for anyone that knows how to step by step turbo a z6?

i know the basic ways but i just want that extra knowledge

Check the beesandgoats link I posted in your other turbo thread. They go step by step on a DOHC, the SOHC is pretty much the same concept.
It's not as simple as you might think, you'll need to weld the down pipe and may have to cut some custom intercooler piping. Also you may need to wire a resistor box depending on your injectors. And most important, get it tuned :thumb:

I'm documenting my z6 turbo install, but it's taking forever because I don't have time to work on it. If you want to wait 2-3 months though, I should have a full diy ready to post.

ight for sure i know its harder than it looks. definatly i have ben trying to figure this whole turbo thing out for about a month now. the only thing im a lil hazy on is the vaccume lining and fuel managment. other than that i some what got it down. its not like its going in right now im just picking up the turbo on friday :hehe:

teal i will be waiting for that one really considering boosting my z6 and your tech stuff is very indepth. Hopefully have the motor out in the summer and decide for sure boost that motor or get a whole new one. I would probably end up rebuilding my motor i have no idea the history its swapped into my dx and im the tenth owner ahaha

I'm still working on mine, still won't have a complete DIY up for a little while though.
