turbo mani

- Sat Jan 31, 2009 2:28 am #93422 I need help deciding on a turbo mani, I don't want the cast iron because it doesn't flow as good as a ram horn. I don't want to spend more than $250. And i know that the cheap ebay hundred dollar ram horns crack. Has anyone ever cracked an OBX turbo manifold? What brand and where at can i find a good quality log manifold for low buck?

I know people making +500hp on Blox cast maifolds. i know of one guy making just over 800hp on an In-line Pro cast manifold.

you will not get a daily driven 400whp car on a manifold that your not gonna spend 250 on. because if your not gonna put out the bucks on a manifold it means your skimping on other parts too and ultimately the tune .. you will get 200 hp for 3 days until it grenades and your car is toast. spend the money to go fast, or don't.

All i'm sayin is, A cast mani is cheap, they won't ever crack, and will easiley support 500hp. I've seen it done a thousand times.

im dealing with a guy on Hondatech about my mani now.. but if this gentlemen would like to make a proposition i would certainly entertain it lol.
