I am no matter what planning on boosting my car however I have run into a little problem I can either rebuild the bottom end of this Z6 im getting since im sure the ring are shot from what he told me or I can get a 1.5 do a mini me to it and then boost that.....

I am not totally sure but i do think if i had to upgrade the bottom end of a 1.5 it might be cheaper? or would it be more expensive to do

but yea not totally sure as of yet what i am going to do researching the parts since i got done talking with my friend since he suggested getting a 1.5 and using the head on it that i am currently redoing and doing a mini me with boost and when i say boost i mean like no more than 15psi probaly wont even reach that with my t25 but idk.....might upgrade to a t3 turbo before this is all said n done.....

But yea anyone have any ideas here im on the fence as of right now and need some good explanations on which one i should go with........I only paid about 70 for the motor and trans so thats all good. just wondering what i should end up doing now....

And no i am not going to go to B lol

The z6 is the best choice it has the best bottom end oiling of all the D series.

you should build your bottom end. Vitaras and Forged Rods + Arp Rod Bolts FTW. You should put this into your D16, not a USDM D15 as its easier to find cheap Forged Rods and Vitaras.

If you plan on go cheap you can get rods out of a LS Integra and put them into your D16, You will have to find or make spacers for the wrist pin and the crank though, so If you dont have access to a Metal shop, or know anyone that does, buying the right part is the better idea.

I was hopeing people would say stick with the Z6 since I trust that motor more than the US 1.5l dont know why but i do.....and yea i may have a metal shop around here that can make the spacer but i have to check i know i have a machine shop to redo the motor like resurface everything but yea any other opinions or suggestions?
