ok well today i received a turbo for free. one of my uncles was cleaning a house and stumbled upon it and said hey this would be a nice paperweight. i went over to his house today cuz there was a party and i asked him about it and said that if i wanted it i could have it! :eh: :woot:  i didn't even wait and took it to my car lol. i knew it was a little too big but i just wanted to know your guys opinion on it. the model number is S400S061 and just wanted to know if thats too big to use and just chuck it or use it as a paper weight or do you think i could ask for some money(how much?) for it so i can buy myself a smaller one? i don't wanna go crazy crazy hp numbers prolly something like 5psi on a talon or eclipse turbo? let me know what you guys think? i'll try and post pix up soon thanks! :hehe:

I think those come off of the older turbo diesel trucks. If you only want to run like 5-6 pounds, i would go with a t3 super 60 or td04, 16g, any of those are pretty easy to come by and at 6 pounds of boost, you can run that all day long on stock everything im pretty sure.
But if you have plans down the road, I would keep it. :thumb:

ahhh so that's where the one in the for sale section comes from... your gonna need quite a bit of air to move it, but man.. anyone with the airflow would certainly like to get their hands on that piece for sure. It looks like it would be an excellant piece all cleaned up. you should be able to get a decent turbo, wastegate, and bov for that thing if you shop a bit.. must be nice lol :thumb:
