Turbo and Supercharger discussion
By speeeedfreak
#74795 So I was looking at turbos and I started thinking, has anyone done a twin turbo setup on a Dseries engine??? And, if you did run this kind of setup, what would you need? (Thought it was an interesting idea...probably has been done before) I'm looking to piece together a turbo setup on a JDM D15B and was wondering just some of the basic stuff you would need, I got my eye on this turbo right here...

with the ball bearing configuration...

Car is not DD, plan on drag...

I figure you would need a pretty tough block and lower compression. Any suggestions on pistons or rods that people have used, etc. Thanks.

btw. i am completely aware im a noob 8)

#83306 Yeah, it sound sick, but it doesn't perform as good as it sound,
We have a lot of hondas doing 700+ horsepower with just one turbo,
With nonstop traction problems, and shit braking left and right, now imagine 2
Turbos.

#83366 i would imagine a sequential TT setup would benefit your car to acheive higher HP.. i'm not exactly sure what you need but it seems more complicated than a 4 cylinder with small airflow like a d15b would need.

#85979 just have a smaller turbo feeding to a bigger turbo and make sure you forge the living shit out of your internals + very very low compression and dont daily drive it :)[/code]
