Was wondering if a 1400$ turbo kit on ebay would be good just to put on a b20 stock engine to give it a 5-7 psi boost?

definitely not



none of that crap will bolt right up, all the metal flanges are junk, they come with a bunch of cheap unecessary garbage and you'll most likely end up spending as much or more than you would have on a nicer kit.. which you could have just bought and bolted on

i've been looking at honda turbo kits for years. imo, the price/quality of those kits really can't be beat.
