#139793 Ok so I went to the junkyard a bit back when i first wanted to build up a turbo and snagged some volvo greentop injectors off a turbo Volvo..... I know alot of people use the dsm injectors but im just wondering if it would be possible to use these ones that i bought I sorta trust volvo to be good since ive owned my fair shair of them and well theyve treated me well plus the turbo ones are quite nice lol....but yea just wondering if these will be able to work or are they too large/tall/etc....

#139806 I would pull a stock one out and take measurements of the two. What cc are they? And are they low or high impedence?

I never saw anybody use volvos, probably because we're all lazy and dsm's are a dime a dozen. Also be sure they will plug into your harness :thumb:

#139905 they are apparently 300-315cc low OHM injectors from what ive researched the actual cc is been told anywhere from 300-400 so im going with the lowest number ive found just because....and im going to measure them up when i get the chance but to get them to plug in i was just gonna wire in the plugs from a volvo or depin etc the clips since every volvo brick has the same plug style thankfully......

#140317 so far it looks like they are a win just gonna see if i can find a different top O-ring but besides that they slide with their o-rings on eh botom comfortably into the one grommet on teh inake manifold and they are about the same size as the other injectors so imma gonna see about using them we will see.....

They are out of any pre-93 urbo volvo as long as you see blue on the tops they are the turbo or higher flowing injectors anything newer are going to be orange in color and possibly i am told higher flow.....

But yea they are in almost any Volvo turbo-200/700/900 series i think i pulled these from a 940 Turbo since i had one before.

And yea you can seem to get a full set for cheap on ebay as well....

Or if you go on forums such as Turbobricks.com you can probaly find something on there or someone with a set for cheap

#142665 ok updateing time kinda ran outa money so sold my turbo n stuff but well.....still have injectors and didnt wire them in but they seem to fit nice and snug. The bottom fits right in with the stock o-ring on the volvo injector.....as in it fits into the black gromet in the intake....

Whilst there are two ways to get teh top to fit into the fuel rail. one is shave down or find a large but smallish o-ring. or just use two stock civic/integra injector o-rings on one volvo injector....

The only problem ive seen is they are a tad tall. So you may have to either find longer studs for the fuel rail or use a bolt and spacers to get a nice fit...so yea pretty sure you can use them

right on, just get some washers and put them inbetween the rail and the manifold studs.... also, your going to need a resistor box/in-line resistors since they are low OHM resistance about 2-4 ohms?

i'm just using some DSM 450 black tops.. you will probably need to trim the connectors some to fit the obd1 plugs
