Turbo and Supercharger discussion
By Matt.M
#82654 Well I bought my 92 civic hatch about 2 months ago as a gas saver and after a few more trips at work, I travel all over the east coast as a Lowe's Hardware vendor, the car will have paid for itself.

I start online courses at college next month, and will be moving there after next semester and going to keep the civic to save gas and sell my z28.

I never had plans to add power to the civic, but after deciding to make it my daily driver and knowing how much it's NOT fun to drive around with 100 HP I decided it's time to invest in a swap and boost.

I was thinking about getting a b18, but then decided on a H22 since I was wanting a little more power than the b18 could offer. Then I was looking for mods to add power, and was mad that I couldn't find anything to add power like I could for my z28. So I decided to go with some boost.

I heard that an H22 is bad for boost because of the sleeves, but heard that I could 're-sleeve' it with something else and it would be fine. I also heard that the b18 would almost bolt right in the car with no mods or anything to the car and the b18 is fine to boost.

So my question is, which should I pick? It just seems like AFTER boosting the b18, I'd have about the same power as the H22 stock.
