On honda tuning exhaust notes there was this artical that was about hondata and there perdiction was supercharging is going to be on the uprise and prob might surpass the turbo movement...

#198769 Hi all, hope my question is relevant in this thread.

I have just installed the JRSC kit with a fuel regulator on my stock D16z6 and my unichip tuner/mechanic is telling me that before he starts tuning for me, i would need to upsize my injectors with an uprated fuel pump or there won't be enough fuel to power up during boost.

The question is if i really NEED to upgrade those parts as i'm frankly quite comfortable if i would be able to make stock but efficient power from just the kit alone.

Both are good ideas. however unless your running more then stock boost you should be okay.

Make sure to get the car chipped/tuned asap, Your Tuner might suggest bigger injectors if your approaching 100% duty. In that case it would be a good idea.

#198785 the guy I bought my blower from told me as long as you keep in under 5psi, the stock fuel system can handle it. I got a JR in cab boost controller with mine so thats what im going to do just install it and wire it in and slap an s300 Hondata in there and tune it

#200435 JRSCs are fuckin' slow.

Even with high boost pullies and the fuel to support it I have never, ever, seen one above 160-170ish whp. And at 5 psi? You'd be at about 130 whp.

x2

sorry guys.

A friend of mine has a fully built 84mm ls/v, sleeved, rod, pistons, ported head, everything. JRSC with the 12psi pulley BARELY made 250. Swap out for a turbo kit, like with that new precision 6262, and he could esily make 700.
