#139107 I have 2 old garrett t3's that I'm using to rebuild into one good t3. One turbo uses a Carbon Seal like on the left of pic. The other uses a Dynamic Seal like on the right of pic. I'm guessing the Dynamic seal is the way to go?

#142803 so i don't know if you had already took care of this but is this diagram from the g-popshop?

i'm going to rebuild my turbo but it is a t3/t4 hybrid and i called them and they said that the $90.00 kit is everything i need for my t3/t4 ebay special. now since you have an internally gated turbo i would assume you would need the dynamic seal set.

but hey, give them a call, they are pretty willing to help, just describe what you have and they will hook you up :thumb:

I got the rebuild kit for $30 something on ebay though

awesome :thumb: i plan on getting the full t3/t4 hybrid kit from g-popshop because it should have everything i need. i think my drain is messed up more than anything, might post about it.

just remember to mark the orientation of the compressor and turbine nut locations in relation to something you can revert back to after you replace all the seals. because if you don't she'll be out of balance... i learned that is why there is material taken away from the nut itself

#142830 I ended up buying a new turbine and had it and the compressor wheel both balanced :thumb:

It was easier than I thought and saved a lot of $$ doing it myself :woot:
