#109690 my b18 is already turbo, what would be required to twin turbo it? i want a lower end turbo, since the garrett gt35 is more of a top end turbo. What would be required in this build?

#109802 Lots and lots of fabrication, a second turbo, retune.

you would probably want to route it so 1 turbo goes into the same charge line as the bigger one, Not feeding it. If you feed the other turbo it basically multiply the boost. i.e. turbo 1 5psi, turbo 2 5psi If turbo 1 feeds turbo 2 then you will 25psi. However if they both use the same charge line then it would only be 10psi.

Putting a Twin Turbo setup will cost lots of money and take quite a while to do. I recommend just installing a Nitrous system. Instant power when Nitrous hits. :thumb: a Nitrous system will be much cheaper and easier to install. if you launch at 3k you can spray from launch and all the way until the end of your run.

Another thing to remember on Turbo Nitrous setups. a 25shot on a boosted system normally gets a 50hp gain. :thumb:

#110020 Make sure you don't blow the welds on the intake manifold or me and the mad scientist are going to have to rip apart the block and replace the piston rings you fried.

#110025 *sigh*
There really is no reason to spam up this post with lame fast and furious quotes.

Nitrous when tuned correctly is awesome. But what do I know. I only made a Nitrous setup that made by Stock D16z6 with i/h/e powered heavy ass fully loaded EX Coupe Beat K swapped EGs.

In all seriousness though Nitrous is probably the way to go, If your running forged rods then your gold for whatever you choose to shoot. if not I think the LS Rods are only good for 300 or so HP before they give out.
