Been spending quite a bit of time cleaning up the engine, ive taken off pretty much everything thats attached to it so i can clean it all up and paint it, as you can see it was pretty grubby!
Took off the gearbox, clutch and flywheel then used a load of degreaser and a wire brush to get rid of the rubbish
As you can see, still looks quite dull! So gave it a lick of paint
Really pleased with the finish, i was dreading painting it silver and it looking really tacky but i think it turned out well, i did the inlet manifold last week too
