Dash guage pod(center vent one) where are they?

Just wondering ive seen them before kinda didnt like them but they started to grow on my and then now i cant find them just looking for something since i cant seem to find resonably priced stuff to allow me to put in my extra guages lol....
most likley if i see them again i may think twice but i still dont know they seem a little more practical being in the middle but visability wise idk most likely the pillar pod would be best for that....

you mean for the vented area that is on top of the dash? sorta like WRX style. Glow shift has them, but only for wrx. i was thinking about that the other day too. try too make one - fabrication and fiberglass!! that would be kewl.

no not like that and to the post before you yea pretty much exactly like that but it took the place of the vent in the center there and the pods stood up I gotta look through my crap load of magazines i know they made something like this use to be all over ebay and stuff like that....

oh that? those are three seperate single gauge holders - go on glow shift and find them there.

I know what those are they use to make a whole peice like that with 3 pods on it that where not seperated though that just looks similar to what i was talking about

that hatch was haulin ass looked like fun, and i know what you mean they use to be everywere ive been trying to find for my self if i find them ill send you a link

Ive actually began making the WRX style gauge and i plan on using fiberglass as the finished product been taking me a while but i think i might make a tutorial on it

Heres my starting project. i just made a template out of cardboard to see how it would look and it surprisingly would look great!

gotta say its creative but to me just not practical for me i like the guages pointing right at you so you dont have to look for them....i mean yea they look like that are in a good spot i just want something like the datsun 240z center guages do.....they point at you idk if its the pics or something but seems like they point away from you...
