Civic EG

ok when i fill my fuel tank up to the limit my fuel gauge needle goes to F, but after i have driven 460 km my needle says that i still have a quarter tank of fuel left, also lucky i have a fuel light that comes on when near empty.

what could cause this it just happend couple days ago,
is this a cheap n easy fix that a noob can do of should i take it to a pro

i was reading on other threads that civics in other countries dont have fuel lights, whys that, i have mates that have civics ranging from 1989 to mine 95 and they all have fue lights ohhh well just curious

Dude i had that some problem for almost a year.You no what i did?
absolutely nothing.You fill it up an the gauge moves up,but it never
came came down pass 1/4.A few months ago it just started working
from self.
I could be that the floater stucks

i have the same issue and i hate it but dont know how to fix it... but im sure someone does..
