- Thu Feb 25, 2010 7:07 pm #177766 i have a new head unit and i wired the harnes to the honda harness but it wont power on so im guessing i need a adapter for the attena but i cant find one that fits the honda 92-95 honda hb if anyone has any ideas or can help please do

- Thu Feb 25, 2010 8:02 pm #177773 First off what is the head unit? second what harness did you wire up....did ou use the aftermarket adapter harness for the civics? that plugs into the stock harness....

also you may have wired it incorrectly sometimes the yellow and red need to be switched....and sometimes you need to hook up a ground wire..but inm civics i never had to do that....

- Fri Feb 26, 2010 4:26 am #177895 kenwood kdc-mp142, i bought a new aftermarket harnes and i am pretty positive i wired it correctly, i may try a ground wire to my car and switching the wire.

- Fri Feb 26, 2010 4:28 am #177896 if everyhting is correct then check a fuse it might be missing power.. and honda doesnt need an antenna adapter nor does it have anything to do with your stereo turning on its only to use the radio

- Fri Feb 26, 2010 5:14 am #177902 checked fuse its goood, and i switched the yellow and red and it still dos not work but it did make the noise of of it trying to read a disk

- Tue Mar 02, 2010 5:13 am #178638 so i switched the wires so tehry were red and yellow and red and yellow and i assed the orange wire that had no partner to the red and yellow of the one set and it worked. so thanks for the help
