d15b1 tranny to d16z6
Posted: Wed Feb 11, 2009 4:19 ami found a d16z6 motor and ecu real cheap. i have a 88 hatch with a blown motor and i was wondering if the lil 4 speed tranny from the d15b1 will bolt up to that d16z6...
The flywheel or clutch on the EF may be slightly smaller, so you'll want to use the flywheel/clutch from the old motor.
(someone correct me if I'm wrong on the flywheel size)
