Civic EG

ok i just got the flywheel surfaced and now the new clutch and pressure plate wont make contact to the flywheel. when its bolted down i have about a 1/4-1/8 inch in between the flywheel and pressure plate. Do i need to get a new flywheel or is that how it is suppose to be, this is my fist honda clutch that im replacing

did you get the pegs line up correctly?

yea its just that when its all lined up there is a 1/4-1/8in gap in between the pressure plate and flywheel. the guys at the parts store said its supose to be like that so i dont know im just checking to see if anyone else had this problem or if its just supose to be like that. when you tighten it down it will sit flush
