Hi,
My friend has a 16a6/z6 mini-me. We looked at the d-series compression calculator and discovered, that the d17 crank would be an intresting choise. With d15b7 pistons and connecting rods it should make a nice compression 11.25:1 and because the d17 has a longer stroke, it should make more torque than the d16 crank...
So my question is, will the d17 crank fit nicely and with no problems in our d16 block

i believe you would have to use the d17 rods too but im not positive

thought of that, but then we would have to use z6 pistons and the compression would still be 11.66:1 and that`s a bit too high. This car is a daily driven, so it has to be close to 11...

And one more problem, will the d16 flywheel fit on the d17 crank?
