so according to zeal autowerks the compression calculator says that d15b7 pistons in a stock d16z6 motor yeild a 11.7:1 CR and that a stock d16z6 has 9.14:1 CR

does anyone see any reasons not to use b7 pistons??? wouls it be a direct swap over? justg curious thanks

zeal autoworks wasn't loading for me to double check all of your calculations, however if your running 11.7 compression you will defentally need to be running 92 octane and have a good tune.

Good idea for a N/A D Series though. :thumb:

I plan on running a 11.96 Compression Ratio in my coming LSVTEC Build.

yea i know that we be awesome for a d-series especially using all honda parts + the fact that d15b7 motors are EVERYWHERE. you could probably get those pistons for close to nothing ahhaha

dang good luck on yours ls/vtec biuld :thumb:

reallly!? do you think it shot a rod because of the set up or cause the motor was just old? but even tho it screwed ur engine would you still say it was bad ass while it lasted?

how much hp u think this setup would be?
its either this setup just because i can do it for like 200 bucks
or go turbo on a z6 ?
turbo is way more expensive and more power
but i like na just cause its bad ass
