Personally I would stay away from a complete body kit, they do not fit well and are overpriced. If you want something that fits your car good, a nice oem sir lip would be best imo.

You can also buy knock off mugen, spoon, bys lips as well. It all depends on your style :thumb:

What exactly is the look you are going for?

^ lemme get this straight, you told him not to buy a full body kit "because it doesn't fit well", yet you suggest buying knock-off parts?

OP, there are lots of reputable body kit manufacturers.

something like that looks very nice, though, i do not know the manu.

IMO if you want looks just buy an aggressive front and rear lip, much cheaper and looks way better than a body kit.

I recommend the mugen lip.

IMO Bodykits are a little hard to maintain. I've seen friends with them and once they get a crack or get bumped the paint starts chipping. Then it starts looking really bad especially if you get it molded in. You have to worry about the mold cracking. No sense in having one if you're car is lowered also. I would save you're $ for a better investment.

that's your opinion. maybe he thinks a Spoon lip looks horrid because it's sooooo played out. or maybe he wants a simple body kit. it's not hard to take bumpers off and switch back and forth. if that's what he wants to do, don't flame him.

But what I posted was clean, simple, and not a ricer bodykit. And just because everyone is oem fanboy doesnt mean he is. I personally like clean bodykits.. Adds something new to our boring exterior scene.

IMO I am not a fan of body kits, When someone says something about them I think of The Fast and The Furious...

Our cars dont have a good body line for the body kits... Unless you drive a boosted the with a HUGE FMIC most body kits have a HUGE whole for the front grill which will not fill out.
Then the sideskirts are attached on it looks out of place, it looks wrong, and it looks like it does not belong on the car what so ever...
then the rear bumbers then to be square to where our body line is more round/curved.... which then will throw ever thing off even more....

Then pretty much ever single honda with a body kit I have ever seen has a HUGE APC wing on it or some other godugly one on there and our cars are fwd we do not need a wing for anything.... as wing are designed to give drag for the back of the car and make you get more traction in the end....

Just my openion, Id stick with OEM body, get a lip. maybe cf hood... and just clean up the paint on your car and it will look awesome.

just like StillProdigy said, body kits in my opinion are also kind of a waste of money because they are expensive and break my friend had one on his car, the cost to fix it was so expensive he just ended up buying oem parts all around and it looks great and flows how it was meant to flow.

OP the car is yours and nobody is going to appreciate it more than yourself so go with what you like best nobody here will flame you for it, this is the best forum i have encountered by far.

I love that red hatch, but the reason i love it, is because everything about it goes beyond functional, i mean that thing is crazy, and the fenders on that thing, geez it looks great.
