Civic EG

so my b16a has been acting up on me and i never experienced this before. i guess this only happens when the engine is warm and im driving her a little hard.

ok so when i downshift from like 4th to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd @ 3000-4000 or more or less. my engine will kinda sputter, jerks back and forth trying to put some gas, the tach jumps from like 2k-3k rpms back and forth like as if im pumping the gas really quick, then i will have absolutely no acceleration after, im pumping the gas pedal but no input, i can actually hear my intake sucking in more air though but no acceleration im just coasting. the only way to get my car accelerating is by upshifting and slowly pressing the gas pedal, and i can feel a great loss of power

sometimes i will get some acceleration and the gear i sputtered but right when i reach 3k rpm i sputter from 2k-3k rpm like before.

the only thing i can think of is my injectors not working??

have you checked your IAC and the throttle cable? but the fuel filter could be clogged, or like you said the injectors. Have you tried to clean the throttle body out? I have a friend that a IAC go bad and it would not go above 3k after it got warmed up.

check the positve and ground wires on the coil in the dizzy, mine kinda did the same around 4-5k then it would smooth out.
