Heya guys, I'm not really sure or not if this question has been answered in any of forums or not...but question.. Would there any kind of problem doing a complete engine/tranny swap from a JDM Spec B16A2 from civic (SIR II) To a Canadian Spec 1993 Civic DX? I don't see any problems occuring from this besides maybe having to change the OBD? As I'm still away from my civic I can't give you an accurate OBD I or II on my civic, although i heard it can be determined from the manufactured month/year of the civic...I believe the JDM engine is OBD I though...anywho thanks for a hasty reply and any added information to this

it'll drop straight in you might have to wire in Vtec on the 93+cars which isnt that hard... pretty much straight forward.... but are you getting 91-94 SirII (EG) or 95-00 SiRII (EK)?

Just body style or ? Keep me updated please

mainly OBD1 and OBD2 is the difference as well as chassis differences.
Your car would have best results with the OBD1 one (91-94) as far as minimal compatibility issues

you make the a2 sound like its bad.
I would say the b16a is better than the B16A2 because of certain emission laws in US as well as some better castings.
