Front right wheel issue

Hey,
I have a problem with my EJ1...I've noticed that the right front fender rides noticeably higher (bigger space between the fender and tire in wheewell), and the tire also sticks out past the fender a good 1/2 inch or so. Everything rides fine, just trying to see what the problem could be. The car came with it like this, clean title. Perhaps a shock or strut solution?

Thanks- Mike

wel for the height difference might be that replaced that shock and only replaced the bad one instead of replacing them in pairs.

as for the wheel sticking out further, no clue :?

If the rights side rides higher check the left shock.

is the chassis/subframe straight? A clear title car can still have had a bad accident. Our civic's aren't tanks and can bend pretty easy on impact.

Check the Caster/Camber even toe.
Look at the shock tower in the engine bay. If there's 'wrinkles" around the top of the shock/upper control arms, that's a sign of impact.

Also look under the car for a broken end link, they can snap in big impacts.

A good alignment shop will probably be able to give you a good detail inspection. :thumb:

Or is there a spacer on one wheel? Or is the fender just pushed in?
