electrical problem???

pulled up to park the other day switched it off went to roll the windows up and nothing along with my full pump, no power. no prime wind or anything.
Started checking fuses and almost all of them were giving no reading light.
pulled a couple of them out, but they looked fine... ah! along with some of the fuses in the engine bay not reading either.
anybody got a clue?
what would cause no power the fuses??
