- Mon Jan 28, 2008 7:22 pm #39716 i bought a hid kit from my friend who works for infinity and gets the kits from one of the suv's i believe, anyways i read a couple other threads on hids on this forum and some people where sayin that they cut the headlights apart and use tsx projectors but im not really feelin projector lights on my eg i just think it doesnt match the body styling. i took a bunch of pics of the kits and i was wonderin if anyone has mounted lights like this in stock light housing (with some modification of course) but how you did it or if you have any ideas for me.













also my friend has a few of these left if anyone is interested he was askin like $100 plus shipping for everything ive got there.

buy these.

probably want to paint the outer part of the housing.. so it doesnt reflect as much. You will still have alot of glare but it will be reduced. We have these temporary in our 08 Fit for now while we gather parts for the projectors.

just an FYI though, you won't have highbeams with that

- Mon Jan 28, 2008 7:37 pm #39720 to be honest Derbo lost me there too cause if you paint the reflector.. well then that defeats the purpose of the reflector. I think he may be talking about the lower portion of the headlight so it doesn't make as much upper glare. but i wouldn't worry much about it

the housing.. is chrome on the ebay auction. You may want to paint the outer portion of the shield so it doesnt have any extra reflection.
