xenon projector system
Posted: Thu May 13, 2010 3:03 pmhas anyone tried these? they sell projector kits on their website (retro solutions). it supposedly comes with good projectors and hid kits. just want to see if anyone had experience with these.

here's a comparison of those vs the E55bixenon's, which are dirt cheap for retrofitting, and readily available.

PNP high beam
as you can see the E55's have a much larger hot spot which allows for better distance. many people who've used the PNP projector complain that they lack distance.

Posted: Fri May 14, 2010 4:13 amsince we're on this topic, should i buy different headlights before doing a retrofit? I heard the lines on stock headlights distorts the light output? I read somewhere (forgot which forum) that someone used tyc headlights and swapped projectors, but I'm not a fan of those.

and yes the stock lens will distort your output severely
