My tires are 195/55/15. Do you anticipate any differences from switching from the previous wheel to this one?

I'll have to tell you all the longer story when I have more time, but a local wheel shop damaged my one racing sparco wheel when trying to mount it, they claimed they didn't do it, wouldn't pay for it, etc. After fighting and yelling they finally admitted it was their fault and they're buying me new, probably Konig wheels.

Unsatisfied, I'm buying a new set of Racing Sparcos from Utah, with the new specs listed in the title. I'd rather not buy new tires, but I was almost rubbing with the previous setup.

Can you give me some insight on what to expect?

the 6.5" rim will stick out 9/16" or about 14mm further on the outside, and will actually be 1/8" extra clearance on the inside than you had with the 6" rim.

Keep in mind that the 195 tire will be a little more stretched on the 6.5" rim which may help in clearance.

here's my calculations:

6" +40mm offset

1 7/16" from mounting point to outer edge
4 9/16" from mounting point to inner edge

6.5" +32mm offset

2" from mounting point to outer edge
4.5" from mounting point to inner edge
