which offset?

Which offset would be best for my hatch when i lower it? 42 offset or 40 offset? The wheels are 16x7, and i plan on lowering my car 2 inches or more.

barely any difference, but +40 would me more likely to rub on the fender lip with the wheel turned while going over a bump.

Rock some camber and get +30 on it and start knocking the arch liner back.
Tyre tucking is 90s

Shit am going +30 myself too.
Have the spacers home sitting. Just waiting on the extended studs which should be here soon.

I have a few, various offsets for my cars.
+45 for the Fat Fives
+45 on the 15x6.5s
+42 on the Works(15x6.5)
+37 on the weds (16x7)

The 40 off set would look good and you don't have to worry about anything.

I believe it will to. I just had to have some other opinions first because I havent ever looked into rims this much. and i wasnt sure if it would rub or not once i lower my car.
