Wheel painting.......

Am planning to get rims painted. Am gonna go for white with matte finish So I contacted this painter guy. He says the job could be done in a day. Anyway he says that we won't have to apply primer on wheels after wiping off the old paint, coz he says primer won't stay on rim's surface and that it would chip off in a while. He says just few coats of paints would do the job.

So is that ok, gettin the job done without the primer coat?

if the old paint is adhered well and scuffed for the new paint to stick, then go for it :thumb:

yeah its fine, just if you can get a two part clear coat, and they make a mat/satin/flat finish two part clear and that will make them quite durable.

BUMP.........

uhh... am not that good at editing images, so that white doesn't blend well ;)

So please help me figure out a color. Also suggest if there are any other better colors ;)
