Miata wheels have a centerbore of 54.1mm, civics have a centerbore of 56.1mm. So the miata wheels must be bored 2mm for them to fit.

Those SSRs are aftermarket rims. Alot of the miata guys get them for some reason.

the 14" rims in the first pic, you can get a set of 4 for $100. They are the first gen rims so they are common and miata owners just want to get rid of them when they upgrade.

I am sporting some first gen miata rims haha took them off my moms car after she got some 16" motegi's.

I do have a flat wallet haha and they don't look bad! But i am getting my car in the body shop second week of August

And was wondering what color i should paint them! I was thinking red with silver lip or black with red lip? Oh and the car is gonna be white!

Your opionion's are greatly appreciated!

I think both your options would look great, but I think I would go with black and a red or polished lip... :thumb:

In the UK there was a whole bunch of MX5 wheels that were for sale that never even made it onto the UK spec MX5. The cars came in from Japan as a special edition with pearlescent white Enkei 5 spokes, but Mazda UK didn't like the look of then and got a huge batch of the same wheels sent over in Silver. Mazda Sport dealers then sold off all the white wheels with tyres at a very good price. Most of them have ended up on civics.

I bought a load of the first sets and bored the centres out and sold them on. :thumb:

And yes the centre bore of the MX5 wheels is 54.1mm so you only actually need to bore the centres out by 1mm to make it 56.1mm. If you take 2mm off then you will end up with a 58.1mm centre :thumb:
