Alright so I was at the local AutoZone and was told I needed to put braided lines on my car. On a DD is there really any perk to having braided lines vs. Stock Goodyear rubbers?

.......for what reason would they say you need braided lines? You don't NEED them but if you want to swing for it they are a nice upgrade. The only benefit is that they last much longer than rubber lines, rubber lines brake down, swell and stretch. The braided lines do not.

If your not racing your car ever and your oem lines are not cracking, I wouldn't bother. If you are going to, might as well do it while you're painting or upgrading the calipers since you will have to bleed the system anyways.
