Low pedal
Posted: Sat Nov 06, 2010 2:19 amhi guys just noticed a problem thats been occuring on my civic. the brake pedal was low so i decided to adjust the rear drum and that made it nice and firm. but i noticed know that when the car is turned off. the pedals fine. but when the car is on, the pedal gets pretty low. then when i turn it off. i gotta pump it up to get my pedal fine. i think there may be air in the line even tho i never opend up the hydrolic system yet and its been fine for a while. im just worried if its the master cylinder going out. but its not leaking and the fluid level is fine.
