Cd player goin crazy....

My cd player out of the blue will start go in reverse and rewinding the song on my cd? What could it be? Its an older unit but I thought it would be fine. Also, the volume and turning it on and off will not work. I have to spank it to get it to work sometimes lol.

its probaly the cd deck since i dont remember the last time i saw something that rewinds the cd....lol you probaly just need an upgrade...

yup deck itself.. i had the same problem with my kenwood and i took it to get fixed but you needed to order the park from Kenwood itself and it cost half the value of the deck so treat yourself and get another one..
