my amp only turns on when the stereo is on the radio mode it turns off whhen i change to cd ipod or aux!

anmyone else ahad this problem?\

its a higher end sony head unit and mtx sub and amp.

You have the amp remote input on the electric aerial wire.

Theres another wire for amp turn on.

if you have an aftermarket stereo you have it connected on the all blue wire which is a remote but for the antenna, you need to connect it to the blue white unless you have an off brand stereo then the wire color vary

ok cool that would be my problemo lol

or you can wire it with a switch but you'll need a cable with 3 different wires in it. You just have to make sure you turn it off every time you stop for a while. I prefer doing it this way so when I dont want bass I just dont turn it on.
