Im looking at possibly buying some oem fogs for my 92 hatch cx. Just wondering how difficult they are to put in, the cutting on the bumper and whatnot, and if anyone knows if there is a write up on where all the wires etc. go. Thanks Alot!

yeah really easy, there is a line on the bumper where you cut. for me i cut it short then test fit and trimmed till it was perfect.
wiring isn't hard at all, took me no time even with the instructions i jot that that were in Japanese lol

one note, i'm on my second set of ebay fog lights now, i completely burnt up the wiring harness (like had smoke rolling out of the hood) because the mount arc'd on the front bumper support while the so called fuse just melted to it's housing and allowed current to flow to burn shit up
so this next go round, i took that SOB off and no problems so far, but it's only been a few days and i'm rockin the 3000k HID's
just a heads up

glad to help
man i must say that the difference between the standard H3/55w bulbs and the HID's is amazing! how do you like them compared to just the headlights? i noticed that they helped a lot, i like the way they look too, i painted that fake carbon fiber looking crap black.

I like them! Those look dope, The tint to the light is nice. I was thinking about maybe doing the ls300 conversion for my fogs if i can find some used ones. But that looks good man, I want me some HID's now

ha, thanks...i like these fogs cause they act like a projector lens and has a nice flat cutoff up top... what is an ls300 conversion?
now if i could only do something about the damn headlights...they shoot the light everywhere in the OEM housings, any good retrofits?

fog lights are super easy to install especially if you have air tools

I used air cutter thing to cut my bumper and it took like 10 minutes..wiring wasn't bad either

ls300 conversion is the fogs out of a lexus, they fit right onto the eg bumper, with no retrofitting, thier just brighter and higher quality. If you can find em used or something its a worthwhile mod.
