Rev counter wire

Does anyone know which wire it is from the distributor that's for the rev counter. Due to the fact my car was originally an automatic, now it's a manual but with the same dash clocks. I'm going to put a manual dash clock in with a rev counter, just wondered if anyone knew which wire it was to link up to the rev counter?

Do u mean a tach? Theres a convient blue wire behind the cluster that u can tap into, check a wire diagram if u can get one

Oh crap i just reread that, ur cluster with a tach will plug right in no extra work required, good luck

X2, pull out all three connectors from automatic cluster, and plug them into your new manual cluster and you'll have a tach
