Civic EG

Since i put the new engine in my speedo hasnt worked, the rev counter and every other guage works perfect, but no speedo, trip thing and the mileage isnt going up...

Swapped the VSS for the one from my old engine which i know was working, but still nothing. All the fuses are good too...

Any ideas where i could look for answers? I dont know if its related but my heaters dont work either...

are all the engine/tranny grounds hooked up?

Yeah all the earths are good, had some bad earths before i got it running so went round and checked them all so theyre definetaly not at fault - all the electrics are fine except the speedo and the heaters, im not bothered about the heaters though, would rather sort out the speedometer!

You should check to see if you have any codes. Is you engine check light on?

Yes it is... Ill need to have a look and find the plug to check for codes as its away behind the dash - ill do that tomorrow though and see what comes up
