I just wanted to double check... when clearing out the ECU to reset Check Engine Codes, you can simply unplug the harness from the ECU instead of disconnecting the power at the battery right?

I know OBD2 civics have a 10A fuse in the underhood fuse box that you can pull out for 10-20 mins. Do our civics have a fuse like this in the fuse box?

I just pulled the ecu fuse on my old corolla, do eg's even have a fuse for the ecu? either way that was the easiest way i did it.

there's a 7.5 amp fuse under the hood labeled backup, pull that for at least a minute

or you could pull the 20 amp ECU fuse thats next to that 7.5 back up fuse but pulling hte plug on the ecu will do fine too

I personally preferred pulling the fuse, cause that way you don't have to reset all you're headunit settings

cool. I've been unplugging the ECU because it is easiest to get to with a gutted interior, where the battery & fuse box have been hidden after a wiretuck. Now I gotta figure out why these codes aren't going away
