I almost 100% Sure that those are called DENJI Projectors, or just "Denji" lights.
My Searching has found nothing about them. Just that getting a "1st gen" is almost impossible. I know a guy locally with a set, However has no intention of selling.

It's not necessary to get the headlight but it makes it 10x easier because it already houses the projector. You just need to figure a way to install the stock projector brackets to the new hid projector.
You will need..
HID Bulbs
HID Ballast
HID Projector
Wiring (custom for your application)
A headlight to work with (Can be stock)
cutting tools, metal brackets, and tons of washers/screws
A lot of creativity on how to fit the projector properly in there to level it and test its aiming. You want to use the headlights stock aiming system so you want the projector as center and striaght as possible to stock headlight.
Ebay, HIDplanet.com have decent stuff if you look hard enough for good prices.

I'm looking to do this too have found a few good web sites that have the full kits on them then its just a matter of installing it, prices I've found start at £89.99 and go up from there.
You got 2 options now either I go get mine and do a fitting write for them or go find some come down to my unit and we'll spend the day figuring out between the 2 of us.
