no. a switch out of an ECU will not improve your power.
The only way it would is if the ECU has been chipped and tuned. Tuning requires software, (romulator) or burned chip to tune, wideband o2 sensor and a good tuner.

hondata or aem ems are both a fine way to go but both are a better idea after you have modified the engine internals then you can get the most out of those parts you have installed. hondata is around 550 and aem ems is around a 1100. the tune is going to cost more and is a necessity. find out who are authorized dealers in your area and they can help you get in touch with a tuning facility.

Tunning & chipping isn't something you should just try if you don't know much about it. Find someone who does it and is good at it and have them show you hands on, its also good to have some electrical engineering background knowledge to know about your circuits etc.. on the ecu. Start soaking in the info.
