- Thu Apr 10, 2008 12:43 pm #49911 [/b] My immobiliser malfunctioned so couldnt start car. i disconnected the immobiliser as it was almost on fire! still couldnt start car the main relay dont click. i replaced that and the relay still wont click. the car is not key coded there are no warning lamps, all the fuses are ok and no trouble codes. any ideas?

- Thu Apr 10, 2008 1:21 pm #49915 I guess your civics are different over there. Our 92-95 civics didn't receive immobilisers (that I know of- Someone correct me if I'm wrong)


Maybe that's why all the stolen civics are happening in the US

it was a separate box near the ECU side of the car behind the dash. it just went mad one day, it just kept clicking when i just managed to get the car home. i switched the engine off couldnt get it going again. the immobiliser box and alarm were both honda made.
