Battery relocation

I want to relocate my battery to the trunk. Password JDM says that batteries emit harmful gasses and shit and thats why batteries should stay under the hood. is this true? would the longer wiring make any difference in the performance of my electronics? is there anything I should know before attempting this?

if it was true would they make the product? no it wouldnt effect it from what i seen you could also do what teal did and put it in the bumper area

It's BS. Some cars in the UK have batteries in the trunk, comes OEM.

get a sealed battery and you will be fine :thumb:

lol yeah unless you're using a battery from the '60s where you have to add water every now and then you should be fine :lol:
