Seperate Low-High Beam HID Bulbs?

I have been searching and have yet to find my answer.

I have been thinking of Converting to HID's. However I want to have 2 bulbs per side. 1 for low beam, and 1 for High beam. Then wire up that High and Low be on at the same time for High Beam. I want to put these into my Halo Headlights. I want 4k lights, as in Washington we have lots of Rain, I read that 4k where the best this type of environment.

Have you guys scene kits that allow you to have 2 bulbs for High and Low beams? Will I have any problems Running both High and Low Beam HID's both at one time?

Thanks for any advice you have.

So you want HID bulbs in both high and low beams?

You will need a BiXenon harness, that is positive switch, not ground switched.
here is an example. Now you will have to make it with two connectors since you will have double the amount of ballasts, even if you use your halogen bulb for the high beam.

Hope you're good with wiring cause making these are a pain in the butt, but if you go on the HIDPlanet.com forums there are guys on there that will make a custom harness to your specifications.

the way that is setup, when you press the highbeams when the lights are off, it will turn on the lowbeams too!

this one has really good information on the wiring setups to allow proper highbeam functions.

the highbeam seperate circuit isnt really necessary..but it's nice to have.

now that looks more like what I am after  :thumb: Thanks much for that. When I get an HID Kit i will definitely do my best to copy that.

I do have a question though. With the low beams being HID and the Highs being Halogen will the Lows be brighter then the High Beams?

yes. But if a projector has a sharp cutoff meaning anything above the cutoff line is very dark compared to the hid foreground. My yellow highbeams are pretty dim compared to the HIDS but at least it lights up the trees while they are on. :thumb:
