Good day everyone, went to repair my exhaust and the one wire 02 sensor was damaged. All I have is a 4 wire sensor from an exhaust I had lying around does anyone know how to wire it in. It will be a 4 wire to 1 wire conversion.

Is your civic the CX model? You'll need an ECU from a 4-wire car in order to wire up the 4-wire ECU. 92-95 civic DX and LX had them, or EX and SI had them (perfect if you also wanted to swap on a vtec head). However, you could also run a chipped P28 and that way you can still keep the proper fuel curves for the 8 valve motor, if yours is a CX.

My civic is a eg8 running a d15b 3 stage vtec using a p2j ecu that has only 1 o2 sensor on the header single pin, all jdm.

Then just go to the junkyard and get a one wire O2 from a 88-91 Civic etc.
