When I bought my car I didn't look it over as thorough as I should have and did not realize that the wiring harness was as hacked up as it was. I have what I believe is an automatic harness on a 5 speed car as there is extra plugs everywhere and a real mess of wiring. My question is if I wanted to replace the harness is it as simple as getting another good five speed harness and swapping it out?

heh thanks I kind of forgot I made this post. IS the engine harness and interior harness separate or do I have to change the whole car?

Engine harness is separate from the cabin harness. They connect at the firewall. :thumb:
Know that there are minor differences among years. 92 and I think 1993 had the map on the firewall vs on the throttle body. Those harnesses are slightly different than 94-95.

also different models, ac, ps, cc, all those extra goodies will either be missing, capped off, or there

Vtec is only 2 additional wires from the head to the ECU, so no sweat if you can't find one from a 94-95 ex or si model. :thumb:
