I had the nrg, ground stabilizer.
Didn't really make a difference, it just looked kind of fancy and very cluttered.

It's a huge rip-off and that circular plate makes for a huge mess of wires.
Just go to a local mom and pop electronics supply store and buy their amp wire by the foot. Then buy some ring terminals, not the gold plated kind, a heat gun, and some heat shrink. Also get some Channel Lock 909 crimpers.
Replace the ground going from the valve cover to the core support with an 8 or 4 gauge. I personally like to branch a 14 gauge from the core support to the little ground box on the fender behind the headlight.
Replace the trans ground to the frame rail with a 4 gauge or lower. I personally branch another 14 gauge from the frame rail to the other ground box on the passenger side fender behind the headlight.
Run a new 8 gauge from where the battery is grounded to the thermostat housing where there is a big group of grounds.
It may be beneficial to run a low gauge ground wire from an intake manifold stud to the battery ground.
