sounds to me like it coudl be a bad ignition unit....but could also be something wrong with electrical and electrical is no fun.....
possibly see if this works pop off your column cover, then go aheadand unscrew that plug i think therestwo crews holding it into the ignitionmodule....then use something to turn that and see if its something inside the key ignition part or if its the ignition peice....
it could be something else but if you are turning the key and stuff happens like you describe then id start there

i looked up in electrical scheme in manual and i saw this...
key on position 1 delivers voltage to winshiled motor, gauge and indicator lights, IGNITION COIL....and nothing of that doesn't work until I crank, but like I said when I release key motor stops...

You need to replace the ignition switch harness its like 20 bukks at the dealers.. It heats up and doesn't let the power go through.. A lot of hondas like the crv has that problem

here's a little update...today, tried again...here what happens...i put the key in the lock, turned it but not on crank, on position before...nothing...gauge lights didn't turn on, relays don't work...so i turned key little more, but not to start to crank...lights turned on, relays too, check engine turned off...i started to crank a little more than usually...engine turned on and start to work, but not regulary, so i turned it off....is this pointing to harness or what?

as stated before, probably your ingnition switch.
happened to me, it would shut off after cranking when returned to the 'run' postion. i could hold it just right and it would keep running but when i let go it would shut off.
as for the steering column cowl, just stick a screwdriver in there and pop it apart.
there are 3 phillips screws on the bottom that must be removed first.
