my rpm gauge in my cluster stoped reving but still lights up and everything else still works. Has anyone ever had this problem before?

either the tach went caputs or the tach signal justdosent exist either wires bad or the thing that sends the signal is.....

Here a simple test to do grab a tach from a friend or another cluster with a tach (if you have a tach on its own then wire it up correctly useing the blue wire behind the cluster(I wouldnt cut it i would just seperate the sheilding a bit attatch another wire and hook it up to the tach....)) hook everything up and if you still dont have a signal then take a multimeter to the blue wire on the cluster harness to the blue wire on the dizzy check that and see .....
