Civic EG

Hello everyone! This is my first time posting on this forum! Anyways, i installed an AEM intake on my 1995 Honda Civic LX (EG8) and i read that once you change the intake, it is a good idea to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for like 15 mintues. I did this and im not sure when, but afterward the odometer reset. I had about 98,000 miles on it, but now it says 000218. Anyone know what it could be?

The Odometer is a mechanical peice, Unplugging the battery or removing the ecu back up fuse should not change it. My odometers have never had anything happen to them when I worked on my cars.

The only odometer that I know you can reset is your trip odometer, however that only has 1/10 mile indicator and then 3 mile indicators.

On the Pool, I have 2 EG Sedans, They are easily the most practical EG, However I love EG Coupes, They Sexy.

Yea, i didnt think that the odometer had anything to do with the ecu reset i did but i figured i would throw it out there. Any ideas on what could have caused it, and how i could set it back to the original motor miles? Thanks alot guys!
