Battery light keeps comming on
Ok so im running a d15b2 bottom end with a z6 head on...along with a obd0 alternator ( since i still have the stock crank pulley on it. )......
Ok so first off lets start with what ive done
-Alt was loose so i tightened her up up a bit and that ended sorta the squeeky belt problem (i think i can still here it squeeking but not completely sure....
-Sprayed the alternator down with lube thinking it may be the bearings and i also put di-electric grease on the plug.....
After doing that the light went off
And i was able to run the motor without a battery hooked up (my quick way of seeing if the alt worked.....
So now i dont know if it is the battery doing this or the alternator because the first time the light came on the car was running and i pulled the battery cable off but the motor quickly died......
So i really dont know whats going on.....
Because if i hit a certain rpm the light will fliker and then go away.....
Anyone have any ideas tomarrow im gonna try some more stuff but i want to get this done with and not worry myself thinking im going to die on the road one day....
